Bacon-Pineapple Slaw - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 slices bacon, cut in 1/2-inch pieces
1/2 c. chopped onion (1 medium)
1 (8 oz.) can crushed pineapple in juice, drained (reserve juice)
1/4 c. vinegar
2 tsp. sugar
1 tsp. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. dry mustard
1 egg, slightly beaten
6 c. shredded cabbage
Preparation

In saucepan, cook bacon until crisp; remove with slotted spoon and set aside.
In bacon fat, saute onion until light brown.
