Striped Delight - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    35 to 40 Oreo cookies, finely crushed
    6 Tbsp. margarine or butter, melted
    1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
    1/4 c. sugar
    2 Tbsp. milk
    6 c. thawed Cool Whip
    3 1/4 c. cold milk
    2 pkg. chocolate flavor instant pudding
Preparation
    Crush cookies and mix with softened margarine, press firmly into 9 x 13-inch pan.
    Refrigerate 15 minutes.
    Beat cream cheese, sugar and 2 tablespoons milk in a medium bowl until smooth. Gently stir in 3 cups of whipped topping.
    Spread over crust, pour milk in a large bowl.
    Add pudding mix, beat, spread over cream cheese mixture and refrigerate until set.
    Use rest of Cool Whip to top.
    Sprinkle with nuts (optional).
    Refrigerate 4 hours or overnight. Cut into squares.
