Hungarian Pastry - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 1/4 c. butter
    1 tsp. vanilla
    3 eggs, separated
    1 pkg. regular household yeast
    1/2 c. sour cream
    1 c. fine granulated sugar
    1 c. chopped nuts
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Mix together flour, salt and yeast.
    Crumble together with pastry blender, then cut in butter.
    Add egg yolks, sour cream and 1 teaspoon vanilla as liquid.
    Work together, using hands if necessary, into one ball.
    Cut carefully into 6 balls.
    Let stand while mixing filling.
