Chinese Salad - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 pkg. shredded cabbage (white, red and carrot mix)
5 green onions, chopped
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. vinegar
1 c. oil
2 Tbsp. soy sauce
1 stick butter
1 small jar sesame seed or 1 oz. sunflower seeds
1 pkg. slivered almonds (7 oz.)
2 pkg. Ramen noodles, crushed while still in pkg. (don't use flavor packet)
Preparation

Mix cabbage and onions.
Dissolve sugar in vinegar.
Add oil and soy sauce.
Mix with cabbage.
Melt butter in skillet over low heat.
Carefully brown seeds, almonds and noodles (this browns quickly).
Add to cabbage mixture just before serving so noodles will be crunchy.
Serves 20 to 25 people.
