Lemon Meringue Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 c. sugar
3 Tbsp. flour
3 Tbsp. cornstarch
3 eggs
2 Tbsp. butter
1 to 2 tsp. lemon peel
1/3 c. lemon juice
1 baked pie shell

Preparation

In medium saucepan, combine sugar, flour, cornstarch and dash of salt.
Gradually stir in 1 1/2 cups water.
Stir over medium-high heat until thickened and bubbly.
Reduce and cook for 2 minutes.
Remove from heat.
Separate egg yolks and set the whites aside for meringue.
Add yolks to mixture and bring to a gentle boil for 2 minutes.
Remove from heat and add butter, lemon peel and lemon juice.
