Congo Bars - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/4 c. margarine
1 1/2 c. graham cracker crumbs
1 (14 oz.) can sweetened condensed milk
1 c. (6 oz.) semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 c. flaked coconut
1/2 c. sliced almonds
Preparation

Heat oven to 350\u00b0.
Put margarine into a 13 x 9-inch baking pan and put in oven to melt.
Remove pan from oven and stir in graham cracker crumbs.
Press crumbs into an even layer with rubber spatula.
Pour sweetened condensed milk evenly over crumb layer.
Sprinkle with remaining ingredients.
Press down with fingertips.
Bake for 25 to 30 minutes until golden.
Let cool on wire rack.
Cut into 24 squares.
Makes 12 servings.
