Southern Hush Puppies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. cornmeal
    2 c. boiling water
    1 Tbsp. shortening
    1 to 2 drops Tabasco sauce or season to taste with Sa-Son Accent special condiment with chilies (optional)
    1 tsp. scraped onion
    1 tsp. salt
    2 Tbsp. finely chopped parsley
Preparation
    Scald cornmeal, salt and shortening.
    Blend in onion, parsley and Tabasco sauce.
    Shape into football shapes.
    Fry in deep, hot fat until golden brown.
    Drain on paper towels.
