Peanut Blossoms - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1/2 c. shortening
1/2 c. peanut butter
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. brown sugar
1 egg
2 Tbsp. milk
1 Tbsp. vanilla
1 1/2 c. flour
1 Tbsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 bag chocolate kisses, unwrapped

Preparation

Mix together shortening, peanut butter, sugar and brown sugar. Add 1 unbeaten egg, milk and vanilla.
Blend flour, soda and salt and then add to peanut butter mixture.
Shape into balls and roll in sugar.
Bake on ungreased cookie sheet at 350\u00b0 for 8 minutes. Remove cookies from oven and press kiss into each cookie making it look cracked.
