Corn Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. fresh, canned or frozen corn
    2 Tbsp. butter
    2 Tbsp. finely chopped onion
    2 tsp. salt
    white pepper to taste
    2 c. milk, divided
    2 Tbsp. all-purpose flour
    1/2 pt. heavy cream
    chopped parsley
    crumbled bacon
Preparation
    Combine corn, butter, onion, salt, pepper and 1 cup milk in a skillet.
    Simmer 15 minutes.
    Pour into blender and mix until smooth.
    Stir remaining 1 cup milk into flour.
    Pour into saucepan.
    Add corn mixture.
    Cook until thickened.
    Add cream; heat thoroughly.
    Serve garnished with chopped parsley or crumbled bacon.
