Punch Bowl Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 box yellow cake mix
    8 bananas
    2 boxes instant vanilla pudding
    2 cans drained crushed pineapple
    2 cans cherry pie filling
    2 large tubs Cool Whip
    2 c. chopped nuts
Preparation
    Make cake and pudding using directions on box.
    Layer cool, sliced cake in a punch bowl with pudding, sliced bananas, drained pineapple, pie filling, Cool Whip and nuts.
    Refrigerate.
    (Best when done in 2 complete layerings, using 1/2 the ingredients in each layering).
    Sprinkle top with nuts before serving.
