Curried Fruit - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large can peach halves, drained
    1 large can pineapple chunks, drained
    1 large can pear halves, drained
    1/2 c. toasted almonds
    1/3 c. margarine or butter
    3/4 c. dark brown sugar
    3 tsp. curry powder
    red or green maraschino cherries
Preparation
    Drain and dry fruit.
    Melt butter and stir in brown sugar and curry powder.
    Place mixed fruit in a long baking dish.
    Pour brown sugar mixture over fruit.
    Dot top with a few maraschino cherries for added color.
    Bake at 425\u00b0 for 20 minutes.
    Serve hot.
