Apple Cider Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter, softened
    1/2 c. shortening
    3 c. sugar
    6 eggs
    3 c. all-purpose flour
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 1/2 tsp. apple pie spice
    1 c. apple cider
    1 tsp. vanilla flavoring
Preparation
    Cream butter and shortening. Gradually add sugar, beating until light and fluffy. Add eggs, one at a time, beating after each addition. Combine next 4 ingredients. Add to creamed mixture alternately with apple cider, beginning and ending with dry ingredients. Mix just until blended after each addition. Stir in vanilla. Pour batter into a greased and floured 10-inch tube pan. Bake at 325\u00b0 for 1 hour and 20 minutes or until a wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool in pan 10 to 15 minutes. Remove from pan. Cool completely.
