Homemade Dog Biscuits - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. active dry yeast
    1/4 c. warm water (110~ to 115~)
    1 c. warm broth (110~ to 115~)
    1 c. cracked wheat
    1/2 c. nonfat dry milk
    2 tsp. garlic powder
    1 tsp. milk
    2 Tbsp. molasses
    1 3/4 to 2 c. all-purpose flour
    1 1/2 c. whole wheat flour
    1/2 c. cornmeal
    2 tsp. salt
    1 beaten egg
Preparation
In a large bowl, dissolve yeast in the warm water.
Stir in warm chicken broth and molasses.
Stir in 1 cup all-purpose flour, wheat flour, cracked wheat, cornmeal, dry milk, salt and garlic powder; mix well.
Turn dough out onto a floured surface.
Knead in enough of remaining flour to make a very stiff dough (10 to 12 minutes total).
Divide dough in half; cover and let rest for 10 minutes.
On the floured surface, roll each portion to 3/8-inch thickness for large dogs or 1/4-inch thickness for small dogs. Using 2 to 4-inch cutters, cut dough into desired shapes.
