Red Beans And Rice - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. Polish sausage
    1 medium onion, chopped
    1 green pepper. chopped
    1 clove garlic or garlic powder to taste
    2 (15 oz.) cans kidney beans (do not drain)
    1 (16 oz.) can tomatoes, undrained and chopped
    1/2 tsp. black pepper
    1 tsp. chili powder
    hot cooked rice (be sure to salt the rice)
Preparation
    Cut sausage into bite-size pieces and cook 5 to 6 minutes over low heat.
    Add onion and green pepper; saute until tender.
    Add beans, tomatoes and seasonings.
    Simmer, uncovered, for about 20 minutes.
    Serve over rice.
    Yield: 4 to 6 servings.
