Spiced Pecans - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    1/2 tsp. cinnamon
    1/8 tsp. cream of tartar
    1/4 c. boiling water
Preparation
    Boil to soft-ball stage.
    Beat in 1 1/2 cups pecan halves. Add 1/2 teaspoon vanilla and pour out on buttered waxed paper.
