Date Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/2 c. brown sugar
    2 1/2 c. water
    1 c. nuts
    1 c. chopped dates
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1 1/2 c. flour
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    pinch of salt
    3/4 c. milk
Preparation
    Bring to boil brown sugar and water; set aside.
    Mix rest of ingredients; drop by spoonfuls into sugar mixture and bake 30 to 35 minutes at 350\u00b0.
    Cool and serve upside down and topped with Cool Whip.
