Molded Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 oz. cream cheese
    2 small pkg. lemon lime Jell-O
    2 c. hot water
    1 large can pineapple
    1 large container Cool Whip
Preparation
    Pour hot water over cheese and Jell-O; mix well with egg beater.
    Add pineapple (drained).
    Cool until slightly thickened. Add Cool Whip; fold in Jell-O.
    Add cherries and nuts, if desired.
