Swiss Steak - cooking recipe
Ingredients
- 
                            1 large round steak, cut into serving size pieces
 
1 bell pepper ring (on each portion)
1 onion ring (on each portion)
salt and pepper to taste
1 large can tomatoes
1/4 to 1/2 c. water
Preparation
- 
                            Flour steak and brown lightly in skillet.
 
Place browned steak in a 9 x 13 x 2-inch baking pan.
Place 1 bell pepper ring and 1 onion ring on each steak portion.
Salt and pepper to taste.
Pour 1 large can tomatoes over steak and add water.
Cover and bake 1 hour at 300\u00b0.
