Lemon Chess Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. butter, softened
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1/3 c. lemon juice
    rind of 1 lemon, grated
    1 tbsp. cornmeal
    4 medium eggs
Preparation
    Cream butter and sugar thoroughly, then mix in the cornmeal and eggs, beating each egg in separately.
    Add other ingredients and pile filling as high as possible in an unbaked 9-inch pie shell.
    Cook in a 375\u00b0 oven for 30 to 40 minutes until filling is set.
    Allow to stand 10 minutes before cutting.
    Serve pie hot or at room temperature.
    Or use filling for 6 individual tart shells to be baked about 25 minutes.
