Norwegian Kringler - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. flour
    1/2 c. butter
    1 Tbsp. water
    1/2 c. butter
    1 c. water
    1 c. flour
    3 eggs
    1/2 tsp. almond extract
    1 c. powdered sugar
    1 Tbsp. cream
    1 Tbsp. butter
    1 Tbsp. almond extract
Preparation
    Mix the first 3 ingredients like a pie crust.
    Put on a cookie sheet in 2 long strips, 3-inches wide.
    Put the 1 cup water and 1/2 cup butter in a saucepan and heat to boiling point.
    As you take from the stove, add 1 cup flour.
    Stir until smooth; then beat in 3 eggs, one at a time, beating until smooth after each.
    Add 1/2 teaspoon almond extract.
    Spread lightly on the dough strips and bake 45 minutes in a 375\u00b0 oven.
    When cool, frost with the powdered sugar, cream, 1 tablespoon butter and 1 tablespoon almond extract.
