Onion Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 large Vidalia onions
    1 1/2 sticks butter
    24 Ritz crackers
    Parmesan cheese
Preparation
    Slice onions thinly.
    Saute onions in butter until very soft (do not brown).
    In a casserole dish, place 1/2 of onions and 1/2 crushed Ritz crackers.
    Sprinkle thick with Parmesan cheese. Repeat onions, crackers and cheese.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1/2 hour.
