Ingredients

1/2 c. lukewarm water
1 pkg. yeast
2 c. lukewarm milk
1/2 c. melted butter or oil
1 tsp. salt
1 Tbsp. sugar
2 c. flour
1/8 tsp. soda
2 eggs
Preparation

Put warm water and yeast in a large mixing bowl.
Let stand 5 minutes.
Add milk, butter or oil, salt and sugar.
Beat flour, soda and eggs into milk, butter or oil, salt and sugar.
Cover the bowl.
Let stand overnight or at least 8 hours.
When time to cook, add 2 eggs, then 1/8 teaspoon soda.
Beat well.
Batter will be thin.
Spread over entire waffle iron.
