*Halvah - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. water
    1 c. sugar
    3 cloves
    1/2 cinnamon stick
    sliver of lemon peel
    1/4 c. butter
    3/4 c. farina
    1/4 c. almonds, blanched and slivered
    1/4 c. pine nuts
Preparation
    Combine the water, sugar, cloves, cinnamon stick and lemon peel.
    Bring to a boil.
    Simmer 1 minute.
    Remove cloves, cinnamon stick and lemon peel. Set aside.
