Rarebit Scramble - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 Tbsp. butter or margarine
    1 c. grated natural sharp American cheese
    4 eggs
    1/4 c. undiluted evaporated milk
    1/2 tsp. salt
    dash of pepper
Preparation
    In a double boiler, melt butter or margarine.
    Add cheese. Stir occasionally until melted.
    With a fork, beat until blended the eggs with milk, salt and pepper.
    Stir into cheese.
    Cook, stirring occasionally, until partially thickened and fairly smooth. Serve on toast.
    Makes 4 servings.
