Baked Alaska - cooking recipe

Ingredients

cake mix (any flavor)
1 qt. ice cream (any flavor)
6 egg whites
1 1/2 tsp. cream of tartar
1 c. sugar

Preparation

Mix cake as directed on package.
Bake in 8 or 9-inch pan. Use rest of batter for cupcakes; cool.
