Pineapple Orange Congealed Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (15 1/4 oz.) can crushed pineapple (undrained)
    1 (6 oz.) pkg. orange flavored jello
    2 c. buttermilk
    1 c. flaked coconut
    1 c. chopped pecans
    1 (12 oz.) Cool Whip
    1 (16 oz.) can sliced peaches
    1 (16 oz.) can pears, coarsely chopped
    1 (20 oz.) can pineapple chunks
    1 (16 oz.) can apricot halves
    1 (6 oz.) jar maraschino cherries
    2 bananas, sliced
    3/4 c. firmly packed brown sugar
    1/3 c. butter
    16 oz. can applesauce
    1/2 c. pecans
Preparation
    In a saucepan, combine brown sugar, butter and applesauce. Heat thoroughly, stirring occasionally.
    Spoon applesauce mixture over fruit.
