Hummus - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. canned chickpeas, drained (reserve liquid)
1 1/2 tsp. salt
4 minced garlic cloves
1/3 c. tahini (sesame paste)
6 Tbsp. freshly squeezed lemon juice
2 Tbsp. liquid from chickpeas
8 dashes Tabasco sauce
Preparation

Place all ingredients in a food processor with a steel blade and process until hummus is coarsely pureed. Taste for seasoning and serve chilled or at room temperature with pita chips or pita bread.
