Buttermilk Icing - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. sugar
1/2 c. buttermilk
1/2 tsp. soda
1 tsp. syrup
1/2 stick margarine
1 tsp. lemon flavoring

Preparation

Cook in saucepan or skillet until light colored (just before it spins a thread).
Cool slightly.
Pour over cake.
