Fruit Cobbler - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/4 lb. butter or margarine
1 c. flour
1 c. sugar
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 c. milk
1 qt. canned or fresh fruit (peaches or blueberries best)
1 c. water
1/2 c. sugar
Preparation

Melt butter or margarine and pour into 9 x 12 x 2-inch baking pan.
Combine flour, sugar, baking powder and milk.
Pour into pan. Drain fruit if canned and combine with water and sugar.
Carefully pour into pan.
Bake in 375\u00b0 oven for approximately 1 hour.
When done, the batter will have risen to the top and should be a beautiful brown.
Serves 6 to 8.
