Cucumber Relish - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    48 small cukes
    24 small onions
    8 small carrots
    2 each red and green sweet peppers
    7 c. sugar
    3 tsp. ginger
    1 Tbsp. turmeric
    1 qt. vinegar
    3 tsp. mustard seed
    3 tsp. celery seed
Preparation
    Run all vegetables through food chopper and soak in salt water a few hours or overnight.
    Drain and mix well.
    Bring to a boil in vinegar and spices (do not cook).
    Put in hot jars and seal.
