Strawberry Ice Cream - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 qt. strawberries
    1 Tbsp. gelatin
    2 Tbsp. cold water
    1/2 pt. coffee cream
    1 pt. double cream
    sugar to taste
Preparation
    Mash berries.
    Soak gelatin in cold water.
    Dissolve over hot water.
    Add berries and juice that have been sweetened with about 1 cup of sugar.
    Combine the creams; whip.
    Add berries and test sweetness.
    Turn into freezer tray; beat when partially frozen. Return to tray; freeze.
    Serves 8.
