Mashed Turnips - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 to 10 medium turnips
    3 Tbsp. water
    2 Tbsp. butter
    1 tsp. sugar
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    dash of nutmeg
Preparation
    Peel and cut turnips into small dice.
    Place in saucepan with remaining ingredients.
    Cover and cook over low flame until very tender.
    Remove from heat and mash until smooth.
    Makes 4 servings.
