Fluffy Yellow Pineapple Marshmallow Cake - cooking recipe

1 c. shortening or margarine
2 c. sugar
4 eggs, separated
1 tsp. vanilla
3 c. cake flour
1/4 tsp. salt
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 c. milk
Preparation

Cream shortening and sugar.
Add egg yolks and vanilla; beat well.
Add sifted dry ingredients alternately with milk.
Fold egg whites in.
Bake in 3 waxed paper-lined 8-inch cake pans.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
