Summer Squash Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 to 8 medium squash, sliced
    1 small, chopped onion
    1/2 stick margarine
    6 to 8 saltines, crushed
    18 to 20 crushed buttery crackers (such as Ritz)
    2 to 3 Tbsp. poppy seed
    1 stick margarine, melted
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Cook squash and onion in boiling, salted water until soft.
    Drain.
    Add margarine.
    Add enough crushed saltines to thicken.
    Put mixture in an 8 x 8-inch buttered casserole.
