Ingredients

1 1/2 c. onions, sliced thin
3 Tbsp. butter
6 c. beef broth (4 cans College Inn beef broth)
1/4 tsp. pepper
Mozzarella cheese
French Bread
Preparation

Saute onions in butter until brown; add broth and pepper. Cover and simmer for 30 minutes.
Put in soup bowls; top with toasted French bread and cheese.
Bake until cheese melts.
