Hot Cross Buns - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. milk
    1/4 c. sugar
    1/2 c. margarine
    1 tsp. salt
    2 packs yeast
    1/2 c. warm water
    3 eggs
    1/2 c. currants
    3 1/2 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. cinnamon
    1/4 tsp. nutmeg
    1 3/4 tsp. cardamom
Preparation
    Scald milk, sugar, margarine and salt.
    Cool to lukewarm. Dissolve yeast in warm water.
    Sift flour, cinnamon, nutmeg and cardamom.
