Japanese Rice - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground beef
    1 1/2 c. cooked rice
    3 carrots
    2 stalks celery, chopped fine
    1/2 green pepper, chopped fine
    1/2 small onion, chopped fine
    1/2 stick oleo
    salt and black pepper to taste
    soy sauce to taste
Preparation
    Brown beef in skillet.
    Add chopped vegetables and simmer for 30 minutes.
    Add rice, seasonings and soy sauce.
    Simmer a while and let set about 10 minutes before serving.
