Indian Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. peanut butter
    1 stick margarine
    1/2 c. milk
    1 tsp. vanilla flavoring
    2 1/2 c. quick cooking oatmeal
    1 c. chopped nuts
Preparation
    Mix together the first 4 ingredients; place on high heat until it begins to boil well, then turn to medium heat and time for 2 minutes.
    Remove from heat at once.
    Add the vanilla and oatmeal, then stir and add the chopped nuts.
    Blend well; drop onto waxed paper by teaspoons.
