Breakfast Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 c. corn flakes
2 c. all-purpose flour
3 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1/3 c. margarine or butter
1/3 c. sugar
2 eggs
2 tsp. orange peel
1 c. orange juice
1/2 c. finely chopped nuts
1/2 c. seedless raisins
Preparation

Measure corn flakes.
Crush to 3/4 cup.
Stir in flour, baking powder and salt.
Set aside.
Measure margarine and sugar into large mixing bowl.
Beat until light and fluffy.
Add eggs and orange peel.
Beat well.
Stir in orange juice.
Add dry ingredients, mixing only until combined.
Stir in nuts and raisins.
Spread in well-greased 9 x 5 x 3-inch loaf pan.
Bake in oven at 350\u00b0 for about 50 minutes or until wooden pick inserted near center comes out clean.
Cool about 10 minutes before removing from pan.
Cool completely before slicing.
Yield:
1 loaf.
