Ingredients

3 c. plain or self-rising flour
1 egg
1 Tbsp. chicken fat
1 chicken, skinned and cut up
Preparation

Brown chicken.
Cover with hot water and bring to a boil. Lower temperature to low boil stage until chicken is tender. Remove chicken and debone.
Mix flour, egg, chicken fat and enough water until dough does not cling to bowl.
Roll out on wax paper with plenty of flour.
Add to boiling broth, then add chicken. Don't peek until ready to serve.
