Hardtack Candy - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 3/4 c. sugar
1 1/2 c. corn syrup
1 c. water
1 vial Lorene flavorings (available in pharmacy of most stores)
powdered sugar
food coloring
Preparation

Mix sugar, corn syrup and water in large saucepan. Stir over medium heat until sugar dissolves. Boil without stirring until temperature reaches 310\u00b0 or until drops of syrup forms hard brittle threads in cold water. Remove from heat.
