German Chocolate Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (4 oz.) pkg. Baker's German's chocolate
    1/2 c. boiling water
    1 c. butter
    2 c. sugar
    4 eggs, separated
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 1/2 c. flour, sifted
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 c. buttermilk
Preparation
    Melt chocolate in boiling water; cool.
    Cream butter and sugar until fluffy; add egg yolks one at a time.
    Add chocolate and water.
    Sift flour with soda and salt; add alternately to chocolate mixture with buttermilk.
    Fold in egg whites (beaten until stiff) with a spoon.
    Pour into three 8 or 9-inch round cake pans.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
    Frost with Coconut Pecan Frosting.
