Buttermilk Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. butter (1 stick), softened
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    3 Tbsp. flour (all-purpose)
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 c. crushed pecans or walnuts
    1 unbaked deep dish pie shell
    1 c. buttermilk
    4 eggs
Preparation
    Cream all ingredients except eggs and pecans.
    Once creamed, beat eggs into mixture, one at a time.
    When batter is smooth, pour into pie shell.
    Sprinkle pecans or walnuts on top.
    Bake for 1 1/2 hours or until firm at 300\u00b0.
    Do not overcook.
