Beef-Vegetable Stir-Fry Over Rice - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. boneless beef sirloin or top round steak (3/4-inch thick)
    1 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1 pouch dry onion soup mix
    1 c. water
    4 c. fresh vegetables, cut up (broccoli, mushrooms and carrots)
    1/2 tsp. garlic powder
    2 cloves garlic, minced
    1/2 tsp. ground ginger
Preparation
    Slice beef across grain into thin strips.
    Combine soup mix, cornstarch and water.
    In skillet over medium-high heat in 1 tablespoon hot oil, stir-fry half of the beef until browned. Remove; set aside.
    Repeat with remaining beef.
    Over medium heat in 1 tablespoon hot oil, stir-fry vegetables with garlic powder and ginger until tender-crisp.
    Add reserved soup mixture.
    Cook until mixture boils and thickens, stirring occasionally.
    Serve over Oniony Rice.
    Serves 4.
