Scratch Shortbread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter (room temperature)
    1/2 c. dark brown sugar, firmly packed
    2 c. flour
Preparation
    Mix together butter and brown sugar.
    Add flour, 1/2 cup at a time.
    Roll out between waxed paper 1/2-inch thick.
    Cut in squares and prick each piece with a fork.
    Bake in an ungreased pan for 15 minutes in 350\u00b0 oven.
