Savory Chicken Squares - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 oz. cream cheese, softened
    2 c. cooked, boned chicken
    3 Tbsp. melted oleo (2 for in mix, 1 for brushing)
    2 Tbsp. milk
    1 Tbsp. chopped chives or onions
    1 Tbsp. chopped pimiento
    8 oz. can crescent rolls
    3/4 c. crushed seasoned croutons
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. pepper
Preparation
    Blend cream cheese and 2 tablespoons margarine. Add the chicken, salt, pepper, milk, chives and pimiento.
    Mix well. Separate rolls and make into 4 rectangles.
    Press edges together to seal. Spoon 1/2 cup of chicken mixture into each rectangle. Pull up corners and seal. Brush with butter. Sprinkle with the croutons. Bake on ungreased cookie sheet at 350\u00b0 for 20 to 25 minutes.
