Frozen Cole Slaw - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 qt. shredded cabbage
    1 c. grated green and/or red peppers
    1 c. grated onion
    1 c. grated carrots
    8 c. water
    8 tsp. salt
    2 1/2 c. sugar
    2 c. water
    2 c. vinegar
    4 tsp. celery seed
Preparation
    Mix 8 cups water and salt; pour over cabbage, peppers, onion and carrots.
    Stir.
    Let stand 1 hour.
    Squeeze out excess water.
