Evelyn'S Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. shortening (not butter)
    2 c. sugar
    2 tsp. vanilla flavoring
    6 eggs
    2 c. flour
Preparation
    Cream shortening and sugar until light and fluffy.
    Add flavoring; add 1 egg at a time and beat until smooth.
    Bake in ungreased pan.
    Put wax paper in bottom. Bake 1 hour at 350\u00b0.
