Jumbo Raisin Cookies - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. raisins
1 c. water
2 c. granulated sugar
1 c. butter or margarine
3 eggs, beaten
4 c. flour
1 c. black walnuts, pecans or coconut, coarsely chopped
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Simmer raisins and water for 5 minutes.
Cream sugar and butter or margarine.
Add eggs and mix well.
In a separate bowl, stir together dry ingredients.
Add sugar-butter-egg mixture to dry ingredients and mix well.
Add vanilla and nuts or coconut. Add raisins and water.
Mix together well.
Drop by teaspoonful onto cookie sheet.
Bake at 350 degrees for 12 to 15 minutes.
