Pizza Snacks - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. Italian sausage
    1 lb. hot bulk sausage
    1 c. chopped onion
    1/2 green pepper, chopped
    1 Tbsp. whole oregano
    1 Tbsp. fennel seed
    1 tsp. garlic salt
    1 lb. American cheese, cut into cubes
    3 (8 oz.) loaves party rye bread
Preparation
    Cook Italian sausage, hot sausage, onion and green pepper. Drain well. Return meat mixture to skillet and add seasonings. Heat gently over low heat.
    Stir in cheese until melted. Remove from heat.
    Spread a scant tablespoon of meat mixture on each bread slice.
    Place slice in a single layer on a large baking sheet.
    Freeze; store in plastic bags.
